Spring 2013 ITA PhD Colloquiums

ITA is hosting a series of colloquiums given by PhD researchers, faculty and visitors. Announcements and schedule can be found on the colloquium website.

 

 

ITA Doctoral Program in Architecture & Technology 2014

The Doctoral Program in Architecture & Technology is oriented toward the full-time training of scholars in the field of science and technology in architecture, with a focus on architecture, building engineering and technology.


We are looking for excellent young researchers with a background in engineering and technology, as well as architects with experience in research and with an interest in relating building technology or engineering to the building practice. Suitable candidates hold a diploma or Master’s degree acquired at university level in architecture, engineering or related fields.


The submission details and deadline will be announced in Fall 2013.

 


About ITA

The ITA / Institute of Technology in Architecture and its chairs form an independent institute that belongs to the Faculty of Architecture at ETH Zurich. The institute sees itself as a bridge between the architectural design studies and building process.
Its diverse cooperations with various institutions, firms, organizations and authorities ensure sustainable development in the building industry.

The new ITA / Institute of Technology in Architecture has committed itself to achieving the following three aims:

  1. To intensify the collaboration among the chairs both in teaching and in research.
  2. To foster a professionally competent and scientifically based integrated architectural design instruction.
  3. To serve in the building industry as the center for technology in architecture.
