Semiramis, the vertical garden in the city of Zug, is a Gramazio Kohler Research group project that blends traditional wood construction with innovative robotic manufacturing and machine learning. It was completed in 2022, and is now listed for the external pagePrix Lignum 2024. 

The Prix Lignum 2024 honors innovative, high-quality and future-oriented use of wood in buildings, interior design, furniture and artistic work, and helps to make outstanding projects be known in the public realm.

After the successful implementation of the “Swiss Wood Prize – Prix Lignum 2009”, the “Prix Lignum 2012”, the “Prix Lignum 2015”, the “Prix Lignum 2018” and the “Prix Lignum 2021”, the Prix Lignum is taking place for the sixth time this year, and takes place throughout Switzerland. In five regions of Switzerland - West, North, Middle, East and Center - project entries are submitted, judged, awarded and exhibited at the same time.
